Steve and Sarah will exchange vows on Friday, August 17th, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. on the Egyptian Patio of The Darlington House, 7441 Olivetas Avenue, La Jolla, California. www.darlingtonhouse.com. Invitations are being sent in early May and we ask that your RSVP be returned by June 1st.
There will be dinner, dancing and cocktails to celebrate following our wedding ceremony in the Rose Garden of The Darlington House from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. This event is for wedding guests only. Following our Reception, a reservation has been made for an After-Party (no host bar) at Cendio Lounge in downtown La Jolla and we would love to have our wedding guests and friends join us to celebrate. Family and friends are invited to join us (if in town) for a Padres game, Wednesday, August 15th vs. the Colorado Rockies at Petco Park at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $10/each. We are getting a block of seats, so if you are interested, please RSVP by June 15th to judyfrench1@cox.net. There will be a private rehearsal and Mexican Fiesta dinner for Bridal Party and close family on Thursday, August 16th at the home of Spencer French. There will also be an informal Day-After BBQ hosted by our parents at the home of Judy French on Saturday, August 18th at 4:00 p.m. Sorry, we cannot be there – we will be on our way to Barcelona for our Mediterranean Honeymoon!! Please mark your calendars for these events. We look forward to spending this time with our family and friends the week before the wedding.
